Fossils in Our Backyard
In this engaging sensory activity, children will learn what fossils are, who studies them and how they are unearthed and examined. They will have the opportunity to participate in a prepared "dig" in their sandbox and learn to handle scientific tools. Extension activities are included for the art center and sensory play.
